When I started my wedding planning business over 8 years ago, I went through a lot trial and error and learned a lot about myself.

There was no one I could turn to for advice or council. In fact, a wedding planner took me to lunch to try to scare me away from the field and by the end of the lunch she told me if I was going to be a wedding planner in this market (RDU), I would have to “bring it”. Needless to say, she is no longer in the industry.  I would hate for another planner to have to go through anything like that. I invested in myself without question and I had an epiphany that I didn’t want to be a wedding planner. I wanted to be a business owner of a wedding planning company. I took on a totally different perspective towards my company. Fast forward a few years later and I have won several awards, been on television numerous times as a planning & design expert for CBS & NBC, planned weddings for high profile people such as professional football players, olympians, federal agents, doctors, lawyer, music entertainment managers etc.

Being a firm believer in community over competition,

I started my mentorship program to help wedding planners at all stages advance and /or grow their business.

Building a relationship and community as you grow your business is key to success. I look forward to getting to you know all!
